bichito

Terms of service

Last updated:

These Terms govern your use of bichito(the “Service”), operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME] (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”) from [YOUR JURISDICTION]. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the Service.

1. What bichito is

bichito is a service that lets you embed a feedback widget on your site, collect bug reports from your end users, triage them in a dashboard, and forward them to your tools (email, Slack, Discord, webhooks, MCP-compatible AI assistants).

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to sign up.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Anyone who logs in with them is treated as you.
  • One person, one account. Sharing a single account across a team isn't supported today; multi-user hives are on the roadmap.
  • You must give us a real, working email address.

3. What you can do

You may:

  • Embed the widget in any site you own or have permission to modify.
  • Receive bug reports through the widget and store / triage / export them.
  • Use the API and the MCP server to build automations on top of bichito.
  • Resell bichito as a feature of your own product, as long as it's not the only thing you're selling.

4. What you cannot do

You agree not to:

  • Use bichito to collect, store, or process content that is illegal where you operate.
  • Use the widget to harvest emails, harass anyone, or mislead end users into thinking they're talking to a different service.
  • Bypass rate limits, plan caps, or the publishable-key model with techniques like proxies or reverse-engineered endpoints.
  • Reverse-engineer the dashboard or API in order to build a directly-competing product. Building a product on top of bichito is fine; cloning bichito with our own data is not.
  • Send malware, phishing, spam, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Use the Service to compete unfairly with us, e.g. by scraping pricing pages or aggregating signal from other customers' usage.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section. We'll try to warn you first when it's reasonable to do so.

5. End-user content

Reports submitted by your end users through the widget are your data, not ours. You are the data controller for that content; we are a processor (see the privacy policy).

That means:

  • You decide what context your widget collects (URL, user-agent, identifiers, screenshots).
  • You're responsible for telling your end users what's being collected. A line in your own privacy policy is the standard way.
  • You handle access / deletion / portability requests from your end users. We can help, but we won't unilaterally delete a customer's bug report based on an end-user's request without that customer's knowledge.

6. Our content

The dashboard, the marketing site, the widget code, the MCP package, the documentation and the brand are ours. You can use them through the Service as intended. You can quote excerpts of the documentation with attribution. You cannot rebrand or redistribute the dashboard, the widget bundle, or the MCP package as your own.

7. Plans, billing, refunds

The plans are described on the pricing section.

  • Free plan: 100 reports per honeycomb per calendar month, 30-day retention, “Powered by bichito” badge in the widget.
  • Pro plan: unlimited reports, indefinite retention, no badge, webhooks active. Billed monthly or yearly via Lemon Squeezy.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro until then.

Refunds: we offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund on the first paid month / year of any subscription. Contact hello@bichito.dev. After that window we don't refund partial periods, but you're welcome to cancel at any time and finish out the period you've already paid for.

Prices are exclusive of VAT / sales tax where applicable. Lemon Squeezy collects and remits any tax due in your jurisdiction.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee a specific SLA today. The current operational status is at status.bichito.dev (when configured). We reserve the right to take the Service offline for scheduled maintenance — we'll announce it when we can.

We don't guarantee that bug reports will be delivered to your webhooks instantly or within any specific window. Best-effort delivery with retries (see the webhook docs) — design your integrations with that in mind.

9. Termination

  • By you: any time, from Settings → Account. Account deletion cascades to every hive, honeycomb and bichito you own. There is no undo.
  • By us: for breach of these Terms, with notice when reasonable. We can also wind down the Service entirely with at least 30 days' notice — in that case we'll help you export your data first.

10. Limitation of liability

bichito is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — lost profits, lost users, opportunity cost, business interruption.

Our aggregate liability for any direct damages is capped at the greater of €100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (in the EU, that includes consumer-protection law).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the Operator against claims arising from:

  • Content your end users submit through your widget.
  • Your use of the Service in breach of these Terms.
  • Your infringement of third-party rights (including IP, privacy and consumer rights).

We'll let you know promptly when a claim arrives that might trigger this section, and we won't settle without your written approval.

12. Changes to these Terms

When we materially change these Terms, the date at the top changes and we email registered customers a summary at least 7 days before the new version takes effect. For minor edits (typos, clarifications) we just bump the date. Continued use after the new Terms take effect means you accept them; if you don't agree, cancel before then.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION]. Disputes go to the courts of [YOUR CITY / COURT], without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.

Before going to court, please email us at hello@bichito.dev. Most problems can be solved by talking to a person.
